【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtostandardizetheminimumstructuraldesignloadingforundergroundprecastconcreteutilitystructures.Theusershallverifytheanticipatedfieldconditionsandrequirementswithdesignloadsgreaterthanthosespecifiedinthisstandard.1.1Thispracticedescribestheminimumliveloadsanddeadloadstobeappliedwhendesigningmonolithicorsectionalprecastconcreteutilitystructures.Concretepipe,boxculverts,andmaterialcoveredinSpecificationC478areexcludedfromthispractice.Note1-ForadditionalinformationseeAASHTOStandardSpecificationforHighwayBridges,SeventeenthEdition.Note2-Thepurchaseriscautionedthathemustproperlycorrelatetheanticipatedloadingconditionsandthefieldrequirementswiththedesignloadsused.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
