【摘要】:Thedifferencebetweenthetemperatureatwhichavulcanizateretracts10%(TR10)andthetemperatureatwhichavulcanizateretracts70%(TR70)increasesasthetendencytocrystallizeincreases.TR70correlateswithlow-temperaturecompressionset.TR10hasbeenfoundtocorrelatewithbrittlepointsinvulcanizatesbasedonpolymersofsimilartype.Ingeneral,theretractionrateisbelievedtocorrelatewithlow-temperatureflexibilityofbothcrystallizableandnoncrystallizablerubbers.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesatemperature-retractionprocedureforrapidevaluationofcrystallizationeffectsandforcomparingviscoelasticpropertiesofrubberandrubber-likematerialsatlowtemperatures.Thistestmethodisusefulwhenemployedinconjunctionwithotherlow-temperaturetestsforselectionofmaterialssuitableforlow-temperatureservice.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
