【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesastandardmethodfordeterminingtotalgaseousmercury(TGM)inambientairusingcoldvapouratomicabsorptionspectrometry(CVAAS),orcoldvapouratomicfluorescencespectrometry(CVAFS).ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletobackgroundsitesthatareinaccordancewiththerequirementsofDirective2004/107/ECandtourbanandindustrialsites.TheperformancecharacteristicsofthemethodhavebeendeterminedincomparativefieldvalidationtestscarriedoutatfourEuropeanlocations:twobackgroundandtwoindustrialsites.ThemethodwastestedfortwomonthsateachsiteoveraperiodoftwelvemonthsusingautomatedequipmentcurrentlyusedinEuropefordeterminationofTGMinambientair.Theworkingrangeofthemethodcoverstherangeofambientairconcentrationsfromthosefoundatbackgroundsites,typicallylessthan2ng/m3,uptothosefoundatindustrialsiteswherehigherconcentrationsareexpected.Amaximumdailyaverageupto300ng/m3wasmeasuredduringthefieldtrials.ResultsarereportedastheaveragemassofTGMpervolumeofairat293,15Kand101,325kPa,measuredoveraspecifiedtimeperiod,innanogramspercubicmetre.
