【摘要】:Theoxygencontentofapowderaffectsbothitsgreenandsinteredproperties.Hydrogenlossisatermwidelyusedinthepowdermetallurgyindustryeventhoughthemeasurementrepresentsanapproximateoxygencontentofthepowder.Oxygenisthemostcommonhydrogen-reducibleconstituentofmetalpowders,andthisproceduremaybeusedasameasureofoxygen,reducibleunderthetestconditions,ifotherinterferingelementsareabsent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemassofhydrogen-reducibleconstituentsinthefollowingmetalpowders:cobalt,copper,iron,andtungsten.1.2Thistestmethodisusefulforcobalt,copper,andironpowdersintherangefrom0.05to3.0%oxygen,andfortungstenpowderintherangefrom0.01to0.50%oxygen.1.3Thistestmethoddoesnotmeasuretheoxygencontainedinoxidessuchassiliconoxide(SiO2),aluminumoxide(Al2O3),magnesiumoxide(MgO),calciumoxide(CaO),titaniumdioxide(TiO2),etc.thatarenotreducedbyhydrogenatthetesttemperatures.1.4Fortotaloxygencontent,vacuumorinertgasfusionmethodsareavailable(seeTestMethodsE1019).1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
